A Royal Tea Party

Delight in the timeless elegance of Afternoon Tea at Old Mill Toronto, perfect for any occasion. Event Duration & Princess Booking

Guest Count: Minimum of 30 guests (adults & children) required.

Duration: 30 minutes of Afternoon Tea Service, followed by 90 minutes of Princess-led activities.
Princess Selection: Choose two Princesses from our roster of 16 enchanting characters.
Additional Princesses: For every additional 15 guests, please add another Princess ($325 per Princess)
Overtime: Extend the magic with an additional 15 minutes per Princess for $40, subject to availability.

Begin your celebration with a delightful Afternoon Tea featuring handcrafted teas, delectable finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and exquisite pastries.

Kids’ Afternoon Tea Package – $35 per child (Ages 3-12)

½ ham & cheese sandwich and ½ grilled cheese sandwich

Princess-Led Activities

After tea, the magic begins! Your chosen Princesses will lead an immersive and engaging experience, including:

Interactive Storytime – Princesses will share her enchanting tale of becoming a Princess, Fairy, Unicorn, or Wayfinder! With interactive storytelling, the birthday child and guests will be part of the magical adventure.
Sing-Along & Dance Party – The Princesses will lead an exciting sing-along to her signature songs, teaching fun dance moves and encouraging all the little guests to join in for a magical musical experience!
Fun Imagination & Adventure Games – Princesses will guide the children through fun, themed games like Hide & Hunt, Themed Freeze Dance, and Scarf Play. Each game encourages creativity, movement, and plenty of giggles!
Amazing Magic Trick Performance – Watch closely…Princesses will perform a captivating magic trick that will leave children (and even adults) in awe!
Royalty Lessons – Princesses will teach royal guests how to bow, curtsy, wave, and twirl like true royalty. Get your cameras ready, this is a moment you’ll want to capture!
Crowning Ceremony – The celebrant will take a special “Kindness Oath” and be crowned in a heartwarming royal ceremony, making them feel like true royalty on their special day.
Royal Parade – Join the Princesses in a grand parade with music, laughter, and plenty of magical moments. A perfect time for photos!
Optional: Happy Birthday Sing Along with Birthday Cake – Princesses will sing “Happy Birthday” making the celebrant feels extra special. Princesses can spend up to 10 minutes.

Room Selection

Choose an enchanting ballroom to host your Princess Tea Party. Room selection is based on availability, and rental fees vary depending on size and location. Explore our beautiful Ballrooms.

Booking & Deposit

Minimum Booking Notice: One month in advance is required for Princess selection. Availability is limited, so early booking is recommended.
Princess Confirmation: Bookings can only be finalized once Princess availability is confirmed, which may take up to 48 hours.
Deposit: Non-refundable, including Princess Booking and Room Rental Fees. The final total will be provided by our sales executives.

FAQs

Where can photos be taken?

Photos are allowed in all public hallways, outdoor gardens, and public areas of our Patio. Photos are not permitted in our private ballrooms, the Chapel, the Hotel lobby, or the Home Smith Bar.

Is parking available? What are the public transportation options?

Off-site self-serve parking is available nearby at 20 Old Mill Rd. Rates are $2.00/hour, with a maximum daily rate of $12.00. Flat parking fees can be negotiated with the contract. Old Mill Toronto is not responsible for any damage or theft.

Is coat check service available?

Yes, coat check service is available for a minimal cost to the host between October and May.

Is a change room/bridal suite provided?

One private change room is available for the wedding couple at no charge, based on availability.

Does Old Mill Toronto provide audio and visual equipment?

What alternative meals do you provide for people with allergies or for vegetarians?

Our Chef can prepare special meals to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please prearrange these needs with your Catering Executive.

Can we use our own decorations?

Yes, you can provide and set up your own decorations. Please work with your Representative to include the appropriate amount of set-up time on the day-of. Certain décor items like confetti and sparklers are not permitted.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No, outside alcohol is prohibited.

Can we bring our own cake?

Yes. A cake cutting fee applies, and the cake should be delivered on the day of your event.

Can we order a cake through your Pastry team?

Absolutely! Our talented Pastry team can bake the cake of your dreams. Please contact your Representative for details.

Do you have on-site accommodation?

AV Canada is our on-site provider of AV equipment. Your Catering Representative can schedule an appointment to review your needs. Vendors must supply their own extension cords and other necessary items.

Do you allow outside food and catering on the premises?

No, all catering must be provided by Old Mill Toronto.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, service animals with proper documentation are allowed on the premises.

Do you accommodate guests with disabilities?

Yes, we accommodate guests with disabilities. In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), we are committed to improving access and opportunities for people with disabilities. What is the public transportation option?
